Fat Joe released from Miami's Federal Detention Center after serving a four-month sentence for tax evasion charges.

After pleading guilty to tax evasion charges earlier this year and serving time in a detention center as a result of those charges, Bronx rapper Fat joe has been released from jail.
The Terror Squad Entertainment CEO served roughly four months at Miami's Federal Detention Center and was released this week, according to complex.com
Following his four months of incarceration, Fat Joe shared a video of himself surprising his daughter yesterday (November 28) after being released from the detention center. The video, which was posted on Instagram, also included this caption, “HAPPY THANKSGIVING DADDY's HOME!!!!! #HTG.”
Although Joe owed back taxes from 2007 through 2010, his four-month sentence stemmed from the rapper pleading guilty to only two of those years.
As a result of Fat Joe’s tax evasion charges, he was also hit with a $15,000 fine and a year of supervision.
Despite beginning his sentence in August of this year, Fat Joe still managed to release his Darkside 111 mixtape, the third installment in his Darkside series, in September. The 10-track project includes production from 9th Wonder, DJ Premier, Cool And Dre, and more.
