Eminem donated up to $100,000 to the Detroit-based Wolverine Human Services as part of #GivingTuesday.
The Detroit-based, social service agency Wolverine Human Services could see a donation of up to $100,000 from local rapper Eminem this holiday season depending on what others donate to the organizations latest fundraiser.
According to MLive.com Eminem will match donations (up to $100,000) made to Wolverine Human Services. As of today (December 3), the organization has raised over $50,000 and is quickly reaching the $60,000 mark.
Described by its president as “one of Michigan's largest agencies rehabilitating delinquent youths,” Wolverine Human Services first launched in 1987 and since that time the organization has opened a number of shelters and treatment centers for young men.
