Cristiano Ronaldo: World Cup win would be "the pinnacle"

Real Madrid and Portugal attacker Cristiano Ronaldo was today honoured by his nation's President for his achievements and stated that winning the World Cup would surpass anything he has done in the game.
The newly-crowned Ballon D'or winner has won almost everything the game has to offer including multiple league titles and the Champions League but victory with Portugal this summer would mean more to CR7.
Speaking to copadomundo.com, the Real goal machine said: "Winning the World Cup would be the pinnacle of my career."
"First, you need to think in the group stage, and then we'll see what happens. My dream is to be champion of Europe (With Madrid) and the world with Portugal."
Upon awarding Ronaldo with Portugal's Grand officer of the Order of Infante Dom Henrique, the country's President Anibal Cavaco Silva remarked on what an inspiration the Madeira-born 28 year-old was to others, calling him "an athlete of international repute converted into a symbol of the country."
And if Ronaldo can continue his current international form following a stunning World Cup Play-Off performance against Sweden, his huge stock just may rise further.
