Guide your computers y'all, Isreali internet spy company reportedly sets up in Nigeria

If new reports are to be believed, then Elbits System, an Isreali Electronic Defence firm, has finally arrived Abuja to begin the installation of a $40million internet facility...which will spy on the people of Nigeria on behalf of the Nigerian government.

Premium Times reports that the internet monitoring company was contracted by the Federal Govt in April this year to install a comprehensive spying facility that will help them monitor its citizens.

The installation will go ahead despite public outcry and an ongoing legislative probe of the project that followed the leak of the contract by this newspaper. The installation is also taking place in complete disregard of the National Assembly which ordered the government to suspend all actions on the contract pending the outcome of a planned investigation."
